Summer Analyst

I applied through my university's career center then emailed someone from the firm to just put my name out there. He emailed me back wanting to set up a phone interview which we then scheduled for the following week. After a week of prep he called me and began the interview. He was very nice and polite, introducing himself and giving some background before he started. The interview lasted for about an hour and the bulk of his questions were technical (DCF, trading comps, importance of multiples). After the interview he said i would get an email in about a week letting me know the result of my interview and if i was invited for final round in chicago. I did not get to the next round of interviews but the email was very professional, thanking me for my time and interest. My advice to others is to focus on technical questions when prepping for an interview with sagent.
