Field Engineer

First round interview on campus. This was basically a data collection round. 30 minutes, one interviewer. No pointed questions about the company or my interest in it. Nothing about relevant skills (though they only interview engineering majors)

Second round was in Oklahoma at a hotel. A group situation from 5 PM to 2 AM the first day, at a hotel, consisting of a presentation on the company, team building activity, etc. Next day we left the hotel at 6 AM to go to a drilling rig. Interviewers wanted to see if we were paying attention (asked detailed questions about the site visit later on). Everyone in the group was asked to address the question "Is Schlumberger for me" in front of the other members of the group, and the interviewers. This was followed by a one on one interview, basically taking care of administrative details and job area/ location preferences.
