Interview Questions
The most difficult question was how to source for the specific type of companies they are looking for. In this job you are a searcher and an analyst. Weird mix of experience. They want you to go through the fact that you have to not only looking at revenue, but look at forward projected revenue because these companies can be so early stage. Run through industry specific multiples (technology, credit ratios, leverage ratios. Then look at holistic things like potential in the costs to fix them, management team, etc.

Interview
Basically cold called said firm saying that I wanted an internship and inquired about their internship program. Then they asked me for a 1 on 1 interview through video which progressed to a phone call with partner.
Interview Questions
For the most part all of the interview questions were fairly self explanatory in the sense that you could probably find most if not all of the questions on glass door. I personally didn't have a finance background so when they asked me questions regarding financial statements such as what is EBITDA? I had a bit of a problem. They will ask you to pitch a specific company or industry that would be good for a PE/Search fund. Other then that the rest of the questions were fairly basic behaviorals. Make sure to research firm.
