1. Explain an investment thesis you have.

Here the CIO asked me about a stock pick I had posted on my resume, which I had picked the year prior with the result being an 80% return. I explained how I found the stock, went about making sure it was a quality company, and predicting where the stock would be a year from then.

2. He asked me to value a factory that made widgets.

I had to ask several questions about the town the widget factory was in, the population growth, and other factors that related to the demand for widgets to get to a market valuation for the factory.
