Sixpoint Partners is a small boutique located in midtown Manhattan focusing on private fund placement and private equity advisory. They introduce LPs to GP mandates that they work on and hope to help further the fundraising process along. The initial interview consisted of a phone interview with a SVP, which lasted about an hour discussing my background and my search process, as well as specific roles that I'm interested in. The two subsequent in-person interviews involved one on one meetings with Directors and Partners of the firm, mostly fit-based given the role but some technical questions as well. Their office is small, but they recently moved into the space and it's quite new and renovated. Layout is bull pen style and very open. Everyone was friendly, though it had a more frat tilt given it was all-male at the time of my interview. I enjoyed the process and would highly recommend the firm as it is an up-and-coming fund placement firm.
