Interview
First off the applications were screened by a 3rd party (local recruiting firm). Second, the ones who made it through the screening would record 5 video responses (unlimited retrys, so you could work on these forever) to 5 different questions (max 1min each). Lastly 8 candidates for the internship were invited to an assessment day that lasted for 9 hours consisting of a group case work + case discussion (with assigned roles to groups, sales organization vs. risk management, the case concerning a potential customer bank which was in very poor financial condition). After that the group had lunch with the company's associates and analysts + team leaders, followed up by general presentations about different jobs such as Corporate Finance (=IBD in the US) etc.
Interview Questions
Very classic questions such as describe your weaknesses etc.

A totally random question that caught me a little off guard : "Dont you ever get bored? What do you do when you get bored? "
