After completing a brief phone interview I was asked to come in for a 1-on-1 interview. During this interview I was mostly asked about why I was interested in the firm and how my past experiences had qualified me for this position. There were a few technical questions asked as well.

Why are you interested in a career in public finance as opposed to other financial sectors?

I find public sector finance to be a more rewarding form of work than traditional private sector finance.
How does non-profit accounting differ from for-profit accounting?

Non-profits use fund accounting in which they may use different financial statements for each fund.
