Index Production Analyst

I first got a written test, and it seemed they didn't really care about the written test at all. Because I had no clue on the written test, I basically just googled the questions and wrote down whatever I could. It was mainly about corporate actions, index treatments, ex-dates, etc. The first interview was with the line manager. Easy, standard behavioral questions, technical questions are not hard as well, mainly basic finance questions. If you prep'ed for IB, and S&T interviews, you are good. For nonfinance majors, I recommend going through CFA level I materials(Corporate Finance, Portfolio Management, Equity).

Been in this role for a year now, this is a quite monotonous role, not many growth or exit options. But the WLB is one of the best in the industry. If you are really interested in indices, this is not bad.
