Fund Accountant, Associate 1

Applied online for the Fund Accountant Position, Associate 1. Received an email two days later to set up a phone interview with the HR rep. When the HR rep called, asked pretty basic questions (tell us about yourself, what are your short term/long term goals, etc.) The next day, received an email to come into the office for 2 back to back interviews (2 people per panel). Lasted about 2 hours total and each group asked the same types of questions. A few days after the in person interview, received the offer from HR and attempted to negotiate salary. State Street did not negotiate but still accepted offer. The onboarding process was fairly simple. Was able to fax in my documents as I was working with the HR group from Kansas City. A drug test is also required. Overall, basic and straight forward interview as its geared towards fresh college grads. Tips - google basic interview questions and practice your response. Interview was not technical at all.
