Global Markets Strategy Intern

Fairly laid back recruiting process; dropped a resume via OCR at target, got invited to "exclusive" private networking event with roughly 50, 60 students from targets + several Boston schools. Spoke with various senior managers in SSGM and SSGA divisions, dropped off name and proceeded to interview with groups in which I was interested. Went through several rounds of interviews with MD in Global Markets division, largely fit-based, behavioral with a few market questions (macro outlook, super simple). HR can move a bit slowly but found the hiring process very easy, friendly culture. Glassdoor reviews most likely describe back-office positions with shit pay; you might not make IB $ but reasonable compensation for front-office work, chill hours, fairly intelligent people.
