Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I met with a managing director of one of the equity research groups for about thirty minutes. They seemed less concerned about technical competence than they are about your fit with the company. They have southern values and seem to be looking for bright, motivated people. They did not ask me much about my experiences with doing valuations. After 2 meeting with the managing director, they offered to me to interview for an internship. This consisted of three more interviews via zoom with the group that I'd intern with.
