First Year Analyst

First you either get interviews through on campus recruiting or informational interviews if you are a non-target. Once that is done, they contact you within 1-2 weeks if you made it to final rounds. Their super saturday is held in Little Rock. They fly you out either commercial or via private jet. Once there, you have a cocktail party, bar event, formal dinner, etc. The next day, you have interviews (6-8) that are mostly 1 on 1 but can be 2 on 1. The interviewers have a sheet that they rank interviewees during the entire processes. In terms of technical vs. fit - mine very fit based while others had more technical interviews. I would just prepare for the worst.

Although the event was very flashy and extravagant, I was a bit turned off by some of the people there. From my limited time interacting with some of the bankers, they seemed to be riding their high horse. Not to mention some of the analyst that were at the bar event prior to the interview got so wasted that they couldn't properly give interviews the next morning. Some interviewers looked like they couldnt care less and would grudingly do the interviews without putting much effort. The people definitely have a southern attitude.
