Stifel actively recruited at my campus (a state school). Stifel posted a job link on our standard recruiting site. Stifel hosted an information session and then held first round interviews on campus. Of 10-15 participants, 2 were selected for a superday in Baltimore, MD.

Stifel hosted their superday at their corporate offices in Baltimore, MD. There were about 20-25 candidates.

Interviews were mostly 30-minute one-on-one interviews ranging from very technical to very personality-based, all depending on the interviewer. There were approximately 6 one-on-one interviews, one interview with 2 interviewees, and one interview in a group setting.

Though this was a few years ago, the people who held the interview process remain at the Company. Advice for a Stifel interview: just be prepared. The interview covered myriad topics, and, from my perspective, the interviewers were more concerned with thought process than actual answers.
