Submitted an application via linkedin, which closed within four days. I was emailed to say I was of 8 candidates selected out of 400 applications to meet the team. On the first interview, I met with a VP and Partners as well as test. The interview was both technical and competence based within a case study.
Interview Questions
No really difficult, usually question but entailed a bit of proving why to want to work for the firm, culture and midcap line. The financial question were no difficult if you have a basic accounting knowledge. Also you would need to draft emails to PE firms, but anyone with previous experience should be fine. A large part of the interview was walking through CV, while question were asked to you, sometimes off topic.
In all the team was very friendly and made the interview process very comfortable
