The number you see in the middle of the doughnut pie chart is the simple average of these scores. If you hover over the various sections of the donut, you will see the % breakdown of each score given.

The percentile score in the title is calculated across the entire Company Database and uses an adjusted score based on Bayesian Estimates (to account for companies that have few interview insights). Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
After applying to the role on LinkedIn, I reached out directly to one of the team's Managing Partners expressing an interest in the position. I was contacted a few days later to set up an initial zoom call with the Managing Director (non-partner), which was largely informal. My interviewer talked the company background and the fund's investment philosophy and then asked about my background, what investments I liked and why, and mentioned that the next step would be coming into the office to meet the rest of the team. This call lasted about 30 minutes. After about a week I was invited in to meet with the rest of the team at their office in Soho. Again, the conversation was quite informal and open-ended in nature. I think they wanted me to simply talk a lot to see how much I knew about the business of private equity and gage whether I would be a good personality fit. Ultimately, the offer was made to someone else with a more generalist investing background (mine is specifically RE), which I understand because that is more aligned with their strategy (all alternatives). Overall, it was a good experience, pretty informal, but well-managed and seemed fair.
