The number you see in the middle of the doughnut pie chart is the simple average of these scores. If you hover over the various sections of the donut, you will see the % breakdown of each score given.

The percentile score in the title is calculated across the entire Company Database and uses an adjusted score based on Bayesian Estimates (to account for companies that have few interview insights). Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
The hiring/interview process is pretty relaxed and easy for the unpaid summer internship position. The first part consists of a phone interview which again is extremely easy. The phone interview is purely fit/behavioural and they mainly just have you go over your resume and past experiences, and then they talk about the firm and the position. The second part is the one to one meeting, which was even easier. I believe by the time they email you for the personal meeting, you've pretty much received an offer. That's because during the personal meeting, they again did not ask any technical questions and barely any questions regarding yourself. It was mainly going over what the firm and position is about, and then showing you some of their recent deal flow. However, this whole process may be subjective -- I'd consider my resume pretty good with great past experiences and therefore I think it spoke a lot for itself. For someone with not so good past experience, they might focus a bit more on technical.
Interview Questions
- Do you have any previous experience in databases, or research?
- My response: Yes I do, and listed an example of where I worked with a database. (please note that I got asked virtually no difficult questions, it was very easy interview)
- What is your greatest weakness?
- My response: Can be impatient, especially when in a team with other 'slow' team members, and gave an example.
