Preliminary phone interview with associate, then lead analyst

Second phone interview with lead analyst and DoR

Half-day, in-person interview with 2 associates (one from the hiring team, one from another team), 2 salesman, 1 trader, and the lead analyst. Interviews were very straightforward, laid-back and fit oriented - until the final interview with lead analyst. This person was very intensive and technical in questioning. After discussing with contacts/colleagues in ER, consensus seemed to be that this person was asking questions that were extremely demanding from someone who would ultimately be hired as a first year associate.
