Investment Banking Analyst

I was referred by someone I networked with and got it through OCR. Had a phone screen that was completely fit comprised of why IB?, Why Atlanta? and walk me through your resume. Also was asked the good qualities of an anlyst and 10$ depreciation expense.

Was invited to FT superday. Was a two day event comprised of networking on the first day and interviews following day. Starts with President and CEO of firm addressing candidates and then tour of the trading floor. You then have a cocktail reception with senior management such as MDs followed by a dinner at Del Friscos where you are seated with two first year analysts and 4-6 candidates. The dinner was probably a fit test for analysts evaluate you at the dinner.

The following morning you have 4 back to back interviews. All of them were again mostly fit focused with a couple technicals thrown in. Want to know about what I did at school and if I understand the IB business. However all the candidates were asked different questions. Some got advanced accounting questions where as others got LBO questions.
