What did the interview consist of?
Phone Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Two phone screens within two weeks with associates from the Atlanta office. Mostly behavioral with some normal valuation questions (3 valuation methods), how the financial statements work together, etc. Nothing too hard on the technical side, if you study the guides you'll be fine.
Behaviorals are more important in my mind; they are sensitive about how most people want to work in NYC and will constantly ask you your thoughts about working in their Atlanta (HQ) office. You HAVE to give a convincing reason as to why you would like Georgia. They seem like a very insecure bank, if you come from an Ivy League university you will have to face multiple questions about why their bank when "there are other more presitgious ones in NYC."
