Very laid back process. If your school is a target (different target schools for different groups) then you'll be competing against your classmates for 3-5 spots. You'll have 3 on-campus presentations; intro, case study, networking event. For the PM group, you have to build a FCF model to present when you make it to the final round. Its a very straightforward process. Hardly any technicals, the ones you do get revolve around your model. Networking is the key to get an interview. The MDs that interview you just want to hear why banking, why you want to be at STRH, why Atlanta. I tried way too hard to jump over to an IB SA position and it cost me everything, whatever group is coming to your school to recruit, take what you can get and maybe lateral later on.
