The cornerstone of our strategy is to combine our capital, transaction experience and turnaround expertise with proven management teams and companies in special situations. Together, we seek to acquire or recapitalize niche manufacturers, value-added distributors and specialty service companies. Generally, these companies have annual revenues of up to $150 million, hold strong market positions and have identifiable growth opportunities. The businesses in which we invest will generally be underperforming, in transition, experiencing performance challenges or will be in need of balance sheet restructuring. We will invest between $3 million and $15 million of equity per transaction to facilitate management buyouts, corporate spin-offs, recapitalizations, family successions, acquisitions out of bankruptcy and debt purchases.

We customize our transactions to meet each constituent's liquidity, diversification and tax objectives. Superior works quickly and has demonstrated the ability to close difficult, multi-party transactions in less than 45 days. Superior has repeatedly utilized its ability to provide bridge financing in order to accelerate the closing timeline.
