I networked my way into the first phone call, contacted by an HR MD and had a very brief phone call discussing my interest in the company and which locations I would like to in. At the end of the call they said they would set up an interview about a week later to go over behavioral and technicals.

2nd round was two 30 minute teams calls, First with an SMD for behavioral and why SVBL questions then the second was maybe a minute of intro and 29 minutes of technical questions. Honestly, I am no wizard at this stuff but I prepared well and it was essentially like doing any 400 level finance test from college the only hiccup is doing it in front of an MD, live, with the pressure of your future weighing on you. Very split with half accounting and half modeling with 1 wild brain teaser at the end to watch you think on your feet. Most of the accounting was about being able to build and move between the three financial statements with a heavy focus on depreciation and being able to walk through what that does to all three statements. Modeling questions were a mix of operating model, WACC, terminal growth rate and the some multiple based valuation methods.

Its been over two weeks now since that interview, I thought it went very well...But, I still haven't heard anything. Hopefully I hear back soon...if anyone else is applying for the TMT analyst during the late summer/fall of 2021 please let me know if/when you heard back. Starting to lose hope a little.
