Interview
The interview process was led by a VP at the firm. In the first interview I spoke with the VP over the phone. We discussed my resume and he gave me a short case where I was asked to create simple financial statements and for a two year period showing how sales affected all three financial statements. In the second round, I met with the lead partner in the office who spoke with me for ~1.5 hours about my resume and then gave me a written business case where I had to review a 20 slide company pitchbook and then discuss the investment merits of the company with the partner. In the third round, I was asked to review a one page written case, build a financial model in excel 2003, and discuss the investment merits of the deal.
Interview Questions
What would the most significant business risks be for a datacenter?

Technology obsolescence followed by fluctuating energy costs.
Please build an excel based LBO model, using this template for a potential datacenter investment. I have practiced LBO models before, but the template was different than models I have built. It was simple to the point that I felt like I would get dinged if I didn't make assumptions for items missing in the template like interest paid and tax rates.
