1 on 1 Interview
Skills Test
Interview
A written test about accounting terms, principle, and bookkeeping, with a follow-up 1 to 1 interview
Interview Questions
I think the written task is designed to see whether candidates are familiar with fundamental accounting topics. It really depends on your knowledge of the field. All questions are asked in English. If you do well in the written task, you have a good chance to get the offer. If you are really good at financial accounting, there is nothing difficult. Of course, English plays an important part in the interview as well. If you cannot understand the questions in the first place, the whole process will be difficult.

Interview
The interview process consisted of three round. All were 1 on 1 interview with Manager up to one VP. The questions were mainly personality based, but they also asked for experience and why Thomson Reuters.
Interview Questions
All consisted of walking through my resume, being able to elaborate on professional experiences was a key point. If this is not possible talk about academic experience thats relatable to accounting/financing. The hardest question was elaborating my knowledge for the company. There are a lot of layers and parts of Thomson Reuters that can make it hard to fully understand. So doing the research here and being able to communicate it was the hardest part stemming from they "Why Thomson Reuters?" Question.

Interview
1 behavioral interview with Recruiter, 1 resume review with manager and mentor, in the resume review, they asked about projects and past work and also asked some basic OOP concepts
Interview Questions
Suppose an array sorted in ascending order is rotated at some pivot unknown to you beforehand.

(i.e., [0,1,2,4,5,6,7] might become [4,5,6,7,0,1,2]).

You are given a target value to search. If found in the array return its index, otherwise return -1.

You may assume no duplicate exists in the array.

Your algorithm's runtime complexity must be in the order of O(log n).

This was a pretty easy question in which you had to basically use a modified version of binary search. However, this is the hardest it got.

Interview
It goes from online tests to video interview then lastly assessment centre. The video interview was mainly motivational and competency-based, with questions like "How do you approach a problem". The assessment centre includes a one-to-one interview, a group presentation and an individual analysis exercise.
Interview Questions
How do you approach a problem/what do you do when facing a challenge? This question was asked during the video interview. It is quite a vague question in my view as it literally just use the general term "problem". There were also questions like why the company, why finance and other motivational stuff. Another relatively difficult question for me was when they asked me on the assessment centre day that why should they choose me if there is another person who has exactly the same experience and qualifications as me.

Background Check
Interview
Fairly straightforward process. First round phone interview was to gauge interest and see if you were a fit for the company. Final round consisted of 2 in person interviews that focused on your resume and accounting knowledge.
Interview Questions
I was asked multiple questions about the team's product, and I didn't have much information on this going in, so it was really unexpected.
What are some recent articles you've read in the WSJ?
What do you know about the FASB Codification?
Tell me everything you know about US GAAP.

The questions were fairly easy, and it seemed like they were more trying to gauge your knowledge on the subject rather than trying to kill you with questions. Overall, the interviewers were very friendly and made the process manageable.

Interview
Phone interview in English with the hiring manager followed by a one to one interview in the office in Geneva with the manager
Interview Questions
The hiring manager asked me what was the difference between good customer service and excellent customer service?
He also asked me why I would be good in customer service.
He asked me lots of questions on finance, like what is the difference between a hedge fund and a pension fund, questions on ratios.
He asked me why I wanted to work in Switzerland, he asked me about my Master and my Bachelor.
Overall it was not that difficult, these questions were all easy to respond to. The first questions was the most important one.

Interview
Received call for TRPS superday. Enter room with about 25 people interviewing and receive organized schedule that consisted of 3 1 on 1 interviews and 1 Excel/VBA skills test. You choose whether you want the VBA or the Excel test. The Excel one is very short and easy. I did the VBA which is quite long, but not difficult (what does this macro do (fibonacci sequence), write a quick macro, how would i do conditional formatting, etc.). (These are written, not computer exams). 1 on 1's really depend on who you get, but they are completely about fit, no technical. Know about what TR does and all about bonds vs yields etc.
Interview Questions

Interview
I met their representative at a career fair and was contacted for a phone interview, which was an hour of brain teasers and coding questions regarding class hierarchies. Somehow I made it to the on site interview. They asked questions about my resume and why I liked some language more than another. They also asked me to code up a word parser.
Interview Questions
What could go wrong in your piece of code? The interview wanted to know the test cases you would use to test your code for potential errors and bad behavior.
