Interview
A recruiter called me first to screen me to ensure I was a good fit. Afterwards, I had a interview with the three associates in the group who asked me a couple of technicals over coffee and wanted me to speak about my experience and my part in the deals I've done. They then proceeded to give me a case study as the next round and a meeting with the partners.
Interview Questions
How would you go about addressing the size of the Australian light bulb market?

I thought the first round was going to be more fit based, but it turned into a 3-1 interview with the associates of the group. I was initially scheduled to meet with one of them, so that threw me off a bit. However, what made it difficult was that they would take turns asking questions and tried drilling into your experience and what I wanted to do afterwards. They wanted to make sure I had a solid reason to leave IB.

Interview
Applied online at the company website and then received an email offering me an interview. Participated in a phone interview. The interviewer did not seem very interested or involved and wanted it to be over with quickly.
Interview Questions
What is the DOW Jones Industrial Average currently at?

I did not know so I could not answer. THE DJIA that day had been moving around a lot and I had not kept track of it carefully enough.
How long have you been interested in investments and why?

It was a tough question to answer, especially when on the spot. Hard to think so big picture after focusing on specific market data earlier in the interview.
