The number you see in the middle of the doughnut pie chart is the simple average of these scores. If you hover over the various sections of the donut, you will see the % breakdown of each score given.

The percentile score in the title is calculated across the entire Company Database and uses an adjusted score based on Bayesian Estimates (to account for companies that have few interview insights). Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

1 on 1 Interview
Interview
The process was not bad. I had two total interviews. One with their associate that asked a me a variety of behavioral questions. Ex: Tell me about yourself? Why Investment Banking? Overall not difficult behavioral, but practice. A couple of technical questions and that was the first interview. The second interview is with the Managing Partner and it was all behavioral. Its a good time to connect with someone who has multiple years of experience in the industry.

Did a first-round interview with 2 analysts at the firm. Very nice and cordial. The interview was around 30 minutes via Zoom and consisted of basic valuation and accounting technicals. But it was mostly behavioral and seeing how you would be a good fit at Tobin and Co.

Interview Questions
tell me about a time you displayed leadership.

One of the major skills required in consulting is leadership. This is because a large part of consulting involves working with a team to strategize, develop and implement solutions related to the problems businesses face. When preparing your answer to this question, it’s important to focus on a time when you demonstrated leadership and to highlight the outcome of that situation. For example, if you were responsible for managing a charity fundraising event for your sorority, you should outline the steps you took to organize the event and explain how those steps led to a successful outcome.

Interview
I applied online and then got the email about a first round interview. After the first round came a case study on finding comps, after the case study came a second phone interview focused on technicals. Finally the last round was an interview with the founder/MD.
Interview Questions
The most difficult question was the brain teaser in the technicals phone interview. The brain teaser was with a 3 gallon, a 4 gallon, and a 5 gallon bucket of water. The question was how could you fill up the 5 gallon bucket using only the 3 and 4 gallon buckets. Besides that there weren't too many difficult questions, mostly just critical-thinking type questions. One question that came up that wasn't totally unexpected but was left fairly open ended was "what is a typical M&A process." The question isn't hard but it leaves a lot to the interviewee to answer.
