Junior Trader Summer Intern

I got two rounds of phone interviews. The first one was not very challenging, consisting of some brainteasers, one basic probability question and two basic finance questions. The interviewer was very friendly and helped me when I struggled. Then promptly (within an hour) heard back about a second round interview. The problems got definitely harder in the second round. They asked me some general questions about the market, a couple of finance questions (with which I, unfortunately, struggled a lot) and a couple of not very challenging brainteasers. It seemed pretty clear to me, from the tone of my interviewer that he wasn't convinced by performance and haven't heard from them since. Overall, however, they seemed like a great bunch of people, the company atmosphere, from what both my interviewers told me, is very collegial and fun and they are looking for people who would fit in. The questions I was asked in the interview were definitely fair but the fact that I have no background in finance made me struggle quite a bit.
