Background Check
Interview
There was an initial phone conversation with a senior analyst who read my resume and asked some behavioral questions and questions relating to my education. Approximately 2-3 weeks later I received an invitation to interview in the home office of the company with the senior analyst and COO. The second interview consisted of more behavioral questions and a discussion revolving around the necessary qualifications and day to day tasks of the prospective analyst and some deeper questions regarding my education and experience. Overall, not a difficult process at all and did not really consist of any technical material.
Interview Questions
No real challenging interview questions. There were no technical topics or industry-specific knowledge required, the position was entry level. I was asked about my education, relevant work experience, and internship experience. Half of the interview was spent listening to both employees discussing the role in greater detail and the types of investments made and the long-term vision of the company and the principal for whom the investments were made. Some general questions included: "Where do you see yourself in 5 years?" etc.
