Asset Securitization Group - Analyst

HR sent out a request for a time slot that worked for me ~2 weeks after the application. The first round interview was then set for 3 days after that HR email with a senior associate on the team. The interview was a 30 minute zoom interview, with pretty standard run-down of their team and who/what they were looking for. It then pivoted to me, my education, and experience. I was coming in with ~1 year of experience in a different space (Non IB), so it was more-so an interview to see if my work experience can translate to what they do (Asset-Securitization group). Overall, almost no technicals, and not super formal. It just seemed like a conversation about my job, and how it might connect to the work they do on that team. I never heard back after this interview, but did look at the job posting a week later, and they updated it to an Analyst ll position (was previously an Analyst l position).
