UBPAM is part of a larger organization, Union Bancaire Privée (“UBP”), which was founded in 1969. UBP has been investing in hedge funds since the early 1970s and formed its Alternative Investment Group and its first fund of hedge funds in 1986. UBP is one of the leading private international asset managers for global clients and is one of the largest privately capitalized banks in the industry, with over twenty offices worldwide.
