Fairly easy, very straightforward, but came as a surprise, as they did not tell me they were going to call, so i was caught off guard.

After applied on inspira (the UN job platform), I was contacted by the current intern for a written examination, after pass the test, I was asked for an interview. The interview is basically about why you are a good fit of this position, so make sure you've read your Task of Responsibilities carefully and can come up with several examples that prove you can excel in every detail of ToR. The whole process took only 3 weeks. 1 month if the time after applied is included.

The United Nations just sent me a mail asking me if I was still interested, they then asked me to come do a presentation of my work at their lab (I live in one of the countries that have their regional offices), it took about 30 minutes. I was told I was accepted, but there was some issues regarding administration (they follow a weird system), I ended up getting the job, but it took some time. Culture is really chill, but it really depends on your cluster (UN is divided into multiple departments) and work location.

I did an interview online with a super friendly senior analyst who asked me to walk her through my resume and motivation for the position. I waited two weeks to hear from her before emailing to check if the selection process was finalized. Then, I got her reply with the acceptance terms.
