Interview
I was contacted by the ice hockey coach. I expressed interest to go to the AF Academy. I had to go through a medical screener, drug test, 1 on 1 interview with a liason officer, official visit where I met with 3 coaches and send in 3 letters of recommendation. The whole process was very mechanical. Most steps were setup and I merely had to attend and check the box. I also had to endure 6 weeks of basic training. You are broken down and forced to work as a team and individual to prove your competancy to solve problems and take orders.
