Submitted a 10-12 pages-ish stock research report to an analyst I spoke to at the firm, who cc'ed the COO in the email chain and invited me for the superday interview. The Summer/Co-op processes are all just 1 round superday interview with 2-3 associates/analysts.
Interview Questions
Because of my background (recent interest in investing, non-finance/accounting degree) interview wasn't hard technically. I would say the hardest questions are just them grilling on your investment theses assumptions as any investing interviews are. Also what investing books have you been reading. Why equity research and why Veritas are also big ones. I heard for people with finance/accounting backgrounds they like to ask a LOT of accounting technicals though so those you should definitely focus on
