The process began with an HR screen focused on my research background and career motivations. This was followed by two 60-minute technical Zoom interviews. These rounds were rigorous, covering mostly my past experience.

The Onsite: The onsite consisted of five back-to-back rounds, including a live coding session.

Advice for Candidates: Do not just focus on the 'correct' answer. The interviewers are more interested in your thought process regarding edge cases and data non-stationarity. For senior roles, demonstrate how your research translates directly into P&L and be prepared to defend your modeling choices under scrutiny.

Phone interview consisted of a technical dive into background, and then a probability puzzle consisting of chances of making a basket which is a function of the fraction of baskets made in the previous n-1 shots. Standard question with some shortcut tricks.

Another technical interview consisted of a coding screen where you are asked to replicate a simulation of a game, and the biggest challenge here is making sure you walk through all the logic and edge cases. Standard leetcode simulation medium/hard.
Interview Questions
The main one was the probability puzzle having different ways of solving it, but a direct way would've been too slow.
