Vision Capital Advisors, LLC ("Vision") is an SEC-registered investment advisor with offices in New York City and Beijing, China. Vision currently manages approximately $500 million in alternative strategies for institutional investors. Over 25% of the assets under management represent investments of the principals of the firm, their families, Vision employees, and strategic investors.

Vision was founded in 2005 by Adam Benowitz and Randolph B. Cohen, Ph.D. Mr. Benowitz is a portfolio manager and derivatives trader with more than 21 years of trading experience, including 10 years of experience sourcing, structuring and negotiating direct investments in public companies. Dr. Cohen is a Visiting Associate Professor of Finance at MIT Sloan School of Management, with over 10 years of teaching experience at MIT Sloan and Harvard Business School.

Vision seeks to make negotiated, non-control investments with small public and private companies. With a highly accomplished team of investment professionals, Vision employs a comprehensive due diligence process and seeks investment opportunities across multiple industries, with a geographic focus on North America and China. Vision's strategies focus on segments of the market, which we believe are less efficient and often overlooked by other alternative investment managers. Vision's "fast track" private equity style of investing seeks to align the interests of our investors with those of the portfolio company's management and shareholders, making Vision an attractive source of financing.
