Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The first round was a 30 min interview with the head of HR, mostly questions about your backgorund, why are you interested in the company, why private equity and why CPG industry. Most of the questions where based on cultural fit with the company and trying to know about why I am motivated to learn. Second round was another 30 min interview based on a case-study on the acquisition of a company on the CPG industry with two associates at the firm. The case study was an article talking about the deal. They were most interested in my thoughts and opinions of the acquisition and the deal rather that my technical knowledge since the internship was for the summer after sophomore year of undergrad.
