Interview
I started my interview in August with a phone interview with a director of development. It was followed by several more interviews with more phone interviews with about 3-4 other team members. The entire process then fell quiet for some time until they decided to visit campus where meet and greets were held. One month later, I was invited for a super day in the office in Chicago. Overall, interview is pretty basic, but drawn out over the course of 3-4 months.

No real hard questions about real estate or modeling. common knowledge.

Take me through a P&L?

How would you evaluate a hotel?

What are reasons why you may choose one hotel over another if two hotels are on the same block and are nearly identical?

What is CAP rate and how is it used?

If you had to choose a single indicator to choose a hotel, which would you pick and why?

Other than that, most questions were generally basic and could be answered easily with common knowledge of the industry.
