Summer Internship

The interview process began with a 60-minute timed logic test. There were about 15-18 math/logic questions, relatively easy. They expect perfect scores to move on, and 60 minutes is ample time. Then I had 3 Zoom interviews: behavioral, technical, and with a senior team member. The behavioral questions were the basics: "Why banking?" and "What are your weaknesses?" A couple of others as well, but it was more conversational. The technicals were standard: walk me through a DCF, is equity or debt more expensive, can equity value be negative. The meeting with the senior member was behavioral and more conversational.

Tips: Prepare to explain further by the rule of 2s. If you answer a question, be ready to explain why twice. i.e. DCF -> WACC -> Assumptions for WACC.

If you don't know something, give it your best shot, but its ok to admit you don't. They want to see how you think, and don't expect you to know everything.

The culture is well-balanced, and the people are genuine, so I would try to be authentic.
