Interview
Began with multiple phone screens. I then came into the Los Angeles office to interview with 5+ members of the LA office. After this, I was sent a modeling test that was rather long and ambiguous. After completing the test I was invited back to the LA office to interview with the New York team via a video conference and to review my test. After this I received a call 3-4 weeks later offering me the position.
Interview Questions
Most difficult questions were asking the following:

1.) What are the top prospective markets in the United States?
2.) Identify foreign markets worth investing in?
3.) If you're looking at an asset in Suburban Houston, what submarkets would you be interested in?
4.) What is a real estate investment strategy that you believe we don't fully utilize?
5.) Identify an asset in our portfolio that you find interesting and one that you do not find interesting.

Other than these questions, there were numerous basic technical questions.
