Interview
The interview/hiring process was pretty straightforward. I applied early February and they responded in late April since they were a small investment bank. They asked me to come in for an interview, came in for a 1 on 1 interview with a couple of MDs who basically talked about themselves, their background and what the company was all about. They were more focused into my fit with the company for the summer rather than grill me on advanced technicals.
Interview Questions
The most difficult or unexpected interview questions that were asked were mostly the fit questions and some questions regarding the real estate industry and the lingos that came with it. I didnt have a lot of background on real estate but was still able to answer some basic investment banking technical questions that were necessary to get the job as a summer analyst. Mostly fit questions just to see that you can talk on the fly while under pressure. If you cant do that, then banking is definitely not for you.

Interview
Cold emailed the bank in February and they got back to me in May. They called me in for a quick interview and 2 MDs each briefly interviewed me with mostly fit and behavioral questions and a few basic technicals that everyone should know if they want to work in Investment Banking.
Interview Questions
To be honest, the most difficult questions/unexpected interview questions was the behavioral/fit questions, especially questions that has to do with your work ethic with a team and if you're by yourself. Also, questions such as 'What is your greatest strengths and weakness?' are still slightly difficult for me. Any questions that has to do with placing yourself in a situation will always be challenging during an interview because you will have to place your mindset in that particular situation and you will have to answer on your feet and have to give a reasonable response to the behavioral questions.
