What did the interview consist of?
1 on 1 Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Wined and dined. Stayed in a nice hotel and was picked up in a nice Mercedes. Met with a few people, one of whom was the director. Took me to the trading floor. Talked about skills and interests; a few people had some brainteasers; one gave me a brief programming test. The questions weren't particularly hard and they were better than the typical "how many ping pong balls..." Culture was laid back. Employees were wearing casual clothes; there was ping pong table in the middle of the floor. It was somewhat fratty. The HR guy wasn't particularly helpful before or after the interview.
