Please describe the interview / hiring process.
After submitting application, HR reached out to me around a day later to set up an initial phone screen. This was followed by two one-on-ones with individuals in the group that I was applying for, which ultimately led to a 6-round superday. Lateral hiring really focused on my prior experience in IB (what I had done, my M&A experience, etc.) as well as why I wanted to transition to Blair. I would say the interviews heavily focus on behavioral/fit and were very conversational in nature so extremely pleasant. I got a couple of basic LBO technicals, but nothing too crazy. HR was really fast in communicating results/next steps, but the process does take a while due to the number of rounds that you have to go through along with coordinating everyone's schedules in a virtual setting.
