Equity Research Associate

Applied online and heard back soon after. Had a call scheduled with HR first. They then send you an availability email where you fill in every time you're available for the next couple weeks. Then, they automatically put interviews on your calendar. Did one with an associate, one with the head of ER ops, and spoke with the covering analyst. Also did their writing test - basically write on a topic for 30 minutes or so (mine wasn't finance related). Last step would've been speaking with Director of Research, but I had another offer and backed out. They are very nice folks & everything was coordinated smoothly. The actual process was relatively easy: tell me about yourself, why do you want to work here, why are you leaving your current job, what's a stock you like, thoughts on AI, what do you do in your current role.
