Investment banking summer associate

The first round interview is an on campus 2 on 1 interview. Here, I was interviewed by one senior partner at the firm (Blair is a private investment bank) and one 2nd year Associate. I'd met both individuals several times beforehand. The interview felt formal but not high-pressure. They seemed to want to have a conversation and get a sense for my personality and they way in which I approach problems.

The second round interview was a superday at the bank's offices. These were conducted almost entirely by senior bankers. The vibe in the interview varied by banker. Blair employees seemed to covet the firm's culture and viewed the offer as an invitation into that circle. They perceive their bank as a unique place.
