Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I applied to the firm in early December after the university recruiting team visited campus. I heard back for a first round zoom interview in late January, which consisted of 2 junior employees asking me basic behaviorals and technicals for half an hour. I was asked a basic paper LBO, and other classic technicals like three statement linkings and D&A flowing through the statements. This occurred on a Thursday, and my superday was the following friday. The superday consisted of four 1 on 1 interviews with senior employees (think Director/MD), two of which were primarily behvaioral/fit and two of which were more technical. One of the technicals was a full paper LBO and other LBO-related questions, while another was more "macro" - asking me how I think about the M&A process and how I view a company. I received a call approximately 1.5 hours after my interview was completed with the offer, which expired 5 days after.
