Interview
I submitted an application to the 2024 William Blair Bridge to Investment Banking Program, which is the diversity program for female sophomores seeking 2025 internships. After my submission, I was sent a link to a Suited assessment, which asked me more about my background, and had me take a "psychometric assessment" and a "logical competencies assessment."
Interview Questions
I did not expect to have to take an "essential competencies assessment"; it asked me a lot of weird questions on logic, identifying sequences, etc.

I began the process by networking with a few analysts at the firm that had attended my school. Then, there was a networking event on campus. I also had an on campus 1:1 coffee chat with an analyst. After that, I had a first round interview with 1 person. However, the interviewer was 15 minutes late to my interview, so the whole interview was only 15 minutes long. The questions were all fairly standard.

Mix of behaviorals and tech. Paper LBO is a must, and they care about how you are as a person outside of finance as well so be prepared to have a chill conversation too. I aced technicals and vibed with interviewer, but did not get Superday. I would say networking is important and gets you through the door, I would've done more of that.
