Interview
Submitted an application via LinkedIn and heard back within a day via email. I had a quick phone screen with an associate followed by an in-person interview in their office.
Interview Questions
There were no difficult questions during the interview. There were no technicals asked during the entire process. I was asked about my previous experiences, my reasons for wanting to do investment banking, why I wanted to intern at Woodside Capital Partners, and why I was interested in tech M&A. Overall, the process was easy and relaxed. The interview felt more like a conversation rather than a traditional interview. The in-person interview was mainly a time for the person being interviewed to ask questions and learn more about the firm.
