The number you see in the middle of the doughnut pie chart is the simple average of these scores. If you hover over the various sections of the donut, you will see the % breakdown of each score given.

The percentile score in the title is calculated across the entire Company Database and uses an adjusted score based on Bayesian Estimates (to account for companies that have few interview insights). Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

1st Round was w/ the director of business ops. Very chill behaviorals, asked me about dcf and comps.

2nd Round was a 1-page case covering a company of choice. Got absolutely grilled on my DCF and competitors. Got pretty technical.

Interview
An administrative person reached out asking for my availability for a 1:1 with a director of operations for a 20 minute screening via Teams. Asked very basic questions and simple fundamentals like explaining a DCF and comps. Asked about my experience from my resume. Moved on to the case study. Tasked with preparing a one pager on a publicly traded company of choice. They did not specify exactly what they were looking for but if you’ve researched a company in detail for a school project or side project I highly recommend recycling your research and any work you did for that. The next meeting would be me presenting my one pager to both the director of ops and an associate. I kind of botched this part a bit. My work was good and I felt prepared but sort of stumbled when presenting. Had to be directed instead of taking lead. Was asked questions about my valuation, where I saw the industry moving, why I picked certain comps, what risks I identified, my projections, the business model, the business segments, etc…

The people I got to interview with were very professional and kind.

Did not get invited back for another interview (the last one I believe). Wasn’t looking to take the offer anyway since I already had something lined up and was using it to hone my interview skills sharp.

The firm mostly does M&A, JV, and capital raising. The industries they cover don’t seem very interesting (personally), and I’m pretty sure they pay significantly below street. Not sure what the hours are like.
Interview Questions
The associate tried to throw a curve ball at me with an unexpected technical question during the case study. Can’t remember exactly what he asked but it had to do with an accounting practice for my case study specifically.
