First round was phone interview with simple questions as self-intro and going thru points in your resume.

Soon I received the 1-to-1 interveiw notice. The man who interviewed me was the manager of the Shanghai Office. He again asked me about some experience in my resume. He also asked some behavioral questions like "Assume you are a leader of a team and one of your team member is not putting 100% of his effort into his work. Also he doesn't seem like caring too much about promotion or incentives of hard working. What do you do with him?" Then it was some basic numerical questions such as the result of 2^9. Not many technical questions were asked then.

However the manager who interviewed me was no longer in place, and the difficulty of the interviews are getting higher these days. Suitable candidates would be expected to answer technical questions in fixed income or derivatives. Post internships in banks or asset mgmt firms are also viewed to be an important factor. These days, interviews are organised in 2-3 rounds and decisions are made generally pretty quick.
