This time of the year or should I be worried about not hearing back from recruiters
Based in Europe. So I have started to plan my exit to PE and have been in contact with recruiters since mid to end of Nov. I have yet heard back from any of them apart from a couple of follow up informal interviews / chats with the recruiters just a couple of days ago. I’m getting a bit worried about not getting interviews and wondering what that could be. I have always been told in the call with the recruiters that they like my profile and happy to send it to the company but then nothing? Maybe that’s the kinda thing they say to everyone. Quite a few of them have mentioned that things are quite slow at the moment and interviews are not taking place till January, whereas a couple of others might have chosen not to pass my CV onto the companies, or that they did but I was not selected for a first round interview.
I’m getting worried about not getting interviews now, even know my bank and team are known for providing good exit to PE. Should I always follow up if I do not hear from them after introductory calls / sending my CV? Do you actively follow up to see if they have other opportunities to offer? Thanks!
